Storage Point:
Max mentioned that the storage point he advises (post meditative practice) is higher up, nearly at the solar plexus. He says not to store in the lower Dan-Tien. Does anyone know the reason why? ...and what is this point at the Solar Plexus in relation to the energy body (I don't remember him saying that it was the Manipura chakra)?
Red Phoenix:
What are some potential indications that the Red Phoenix meditation is being done properly? Max gives about 10 signs that Kunlun is being practiced correctly, but I'm not sure what exactly is being opened by Red Phoenix. It seems like a direct "3rd eye opening" exercise.
Eyes:
What is the benefit of having the eyes "two thirds closed?" My intention is that it seems that the practitioner is hastening the development of the 'mind split' or double vision of normal sight and 3rd eye vision... ? maybe?
Astral Projection/OBE's/Lucid Dreaming:
Has anyone who's been doing Kunlun or Red Phoenix started having these experiences or had an increase in the frequency of Lucidity/OBE's/Astral Projections? I'm reading Robert Bruce's Astral Dynamics and his observations and experiments are pretty incredible. I'm wondering if anyone has confirmed his observations and used Kunlun or some other form of Energy Work and noticed differences.
Emotions:
Are there any specific Kunlun-related exercises that can be done to establish a consistently stable emotional foundation? I've been having personal difficulties with heart issues... fear of opening my heart to people due to social conditioning of expectations about 'relationships'... and fears associated with memories of past failures and potential future betrayals. I'd like to energetically increase my potential to have a heart of abundance without ego-involvement, without expectations... Are there any exercises one can recommend?
Health and Nutrition:
Max said that Kunlun should not be practiced when on any psychoactive substance. Is caffeine or alcohol included in this? Regenerating cells under the influence of "negatively charged" (so-to-say) neuropeptides causes an increased frequency of the opiate receptors specific to those 'bad' neuropeptides... is there some similar biological process occurring if the Kunlun practitioner regenerates when under the influence of 'negative/contraindicative' substances.
